As privacy and data protection become increasingly important issues, he has conviction that the tools that he builds will help preserve these fundamental civil liberties.
Before Palantir, Andrew helped democratize investing at Acorns, a financial technology startup backed by PayPal, and ran an online design course. He studied business at USC, but became fascinated with design after taking ARCH-444, an architecture course on mid-century houses in Los Angeles, transitioning into designing digital experiences soon after.
Andrew is a TCK, having grown up in Japan as a Korean-American. Currently, he splits his time between San Francisco and London. In his free time, he enjoys exploring architecture, playing basketball, and writing about himself in third person.
