Leica is an iconic German camera company. Their products embody a high level of craftsmanship and an impeccable sense of design (Steve Jobs once referred to the iPhone 4 as beautiful as a Leica) — these are as good as cameras get.
In light of this, I created a series of print ads that accentuate the high quality of the Leica M lens — its flagship product — and the essence of its timeless brand. The ads feature three “vision"aries — MLKJ, Marilyn Monroe, and Walt Disney — with an M lens replacing each subject's right eye. The substitution symbolizes the superior quality of the M lens that envisions them to “see what others don’t."
