Wayfinder is a web app that allows friends to plan trips together.
I worked on Wayfinder with my engineering co-founder, Alex Haak, as a personal project. We found ourselves traveling frequently for work and wanted a more intuitive experience to plan and coordinate trips with friends.
We entered a hackathon hosted by Y Combinator, pitched a prototype of Wayfinder, and finished 2nd place out of 40 teams. We won office hours with Michael Seibel, YC CEO, where we received good advice on how to scale the business.
I came up with the idea for Wayfinder, led end-to-end product design, and gave a 2 minute pitch to other hackathon participants and a panel of judges including Michael, Sam Altman, and Adora Cheung.
